Elliott Norwood

Elliott is the Student Minister here at London Baptist. He and his beautiful wife, Rylie, have been married since February 8th, 2026. Elliott, Rylie, and their three cats, Harry, Otie, and Mufasa, live right here in New London! Both Rylie and Elliott are from Longview, Texas, where many of their loved ones still live, but have quickly loved to call New London "HOME!"

 

Elliott has a deep heart for ministry, and prior to him joining ministry here at LBC in the summer of 2025, he had spent over a decade enjoying serving God and others in various capacities across missions, children, youth, college, family, and other ministries!

 

After high school and some college, Elliott served four summers at Kanakuk Kamp's Family Kamp, K-Kauai in Branson, Missouri. In 2025, he graduated from the Kanakuk Institute, a year-long discipleship program that equips and launches young adults back into the world to go and make disciples. Elliott is confident that it is his purpose! After first personally having a relationship and deep love for God, his desire is to diligently lead others (who then lead others) into a life-changing, ever-growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Elliott's favorite passage in scripture is Ephesians 2:1-10, and it is such a good reminder of the gospel, knowing that in Christ we have been saved from death to an abundant and purposeful life! Elliott is passionate about helping people take the first or the next step in following Jesus!

Here at London Baptist, Elliott strives to fulfill his God-given purpose by boldly teaching God's Word and encouraging all members and guests that Jesus is worthy of our submission and obedience!
