London Loving Legacy in the Basis of Our Church Membership. This Is Who We Are and What We Have Committed Ourselves to in Order to Fulfill the Great Commission. Every Member Understands That in Order to Build a Biblical Church One must Commit to a Biblical Commitment. This Is What We as a Church Have Adopted and Have Agreed upon to Make London Baptist Church All That Christ Desires Using Each Member as He Wishes.
1. God's Son is to be our model (Eph. 5:1):
A. Because He Called Us (2 Pet. 1:3, 1 Jn 3:1)
B. Because He Commissioned Us (Mt. 28:18-20)
C. Because He Consecrated Us (2 Cor. 6:17)
D. Because He Has a Covenant with Us (2 Cor. 3:6)
2. Our calling is from God and it is a:
A. Heavenly Calling (Heb. 3:1)
B. Holy Calling (2 Tim. 1:9)
C. High Calling (Phil. 3:14)
D. Hopeful Calling (Eph. 4:4)
3. Going to be our mission (Mt. 28:18-20):
A. We are to go and extend the Kingdom of God.
B. We are to go and expose the power of God.
C. We are to go and express the love of God.
4. Growing is the mandate given to us by Christ (1 Pet. 2:2):
A. Captivate our heart
B. Cultivate our heart
C. Communicate to our heart
5. Giving is to be our method for financing the church (Mal. 3:7-12 , 2 Cor. 9:7-15)
A. We are to give of our tithe.
B. We are to give of our time (in prayer and in participation).
C. We are to give of our talents.
6. Our giving to The Lord should be:
A. With a cheerful heart (2 Cor. 9:7)
B. With a generous heart. (2 Cor. 9:6)
C. With a confident heart. (2 Cor. 9:8)
D. With a consistent heart
7. Giving glory to Christ is to be our motive (Mt. 5:16):
A. We are to give Him glory in our worship.
B. We are to give Him glory in our work.
C. We are to give Him glory by staying in His will.
D. We are to give Him glory by helping the wayward.
